Emma & Nicky came for the weekend and we went for some glorious walks...

...we swam...

...and studied nature (including George)

I spent an afternoon photographing some of the visually interesting aspects of East London's neglect

We drove past this amazing set of about 10 Illustrative sculptural garden wall insets, and had to stop to take a closer look.
I regret now that I didn't pluck up the courage to knock at the door to get the history. My dad and Patrick Cook would appreciate this
